National radio host teams up with Moscow guitarist to make sublime music
Suzanne Bona swaps her Sunday Baroque mic for a FLUTE next month, when she comes to Moscow perform with guitarist James Reid. The program has baroque music, of course, but also classical and Brazilian, plus a work by a Northwest composer – and you can look forward to some lively chat from Suzanne from the stage. You can also mingle with NWPB staff, including Gillian Coldsnow, who will serve as Master of Ceremonies.

A classically trained flutist, Suzanne performs frequently as a soloist and chamber musician. She has long noted James Reid’s skills on guitar and jumped at the chance to perform with him.
James is an accomplished classical guitarist, professor of music at the University of Idaho, and founder of the annual Northwest Guitar Festival.
The two will perform in the “acoustically spectacular University of Idaho Admin Auditorium,” as Anjuli Dodhia, classical music host, calls it.
The concert is presented by Northwest Public Broadcasting in partnership with the Washington-Idaho Symphony and the Palouse Choral Society.
